About Us
About Me
I’m Sandy Crisp, MS, LPC, CRC, LCDC, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, nationally certified as a Rehabilitation Counselor and Clinical Trauma Specialist. With nearly 20 years of experience, I help adults who have survived trauma, loss, disability, or addiction and are now ready to transform—not just rebuild—their lives. My work centers on resilience, identity, and helping clients reconnect with meaning and purpose after difficult seasons.
We understand that life’s challenges, whether visible or deeply personal, can disconnect you from your goals, peace, and identity. That’s why we offer a compassionate, judgment-free space where healing begins with being heard.
Through a client-centered approach, we blend proven therapeutic methods like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. Our services are tailored to support those facing trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illness, disabilities, and more.
Together, we build practical, empowering strategies that support your growth both in and beyond the therapy room.
My Approach
I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to the therapy space. After surviving a life-threatening illness, multiple surgeries, and years of rehabilitation, I learned firsthand that healing isn’t about going back—it’s about becoming. That insight shaped how I support clients facing trauma, chronic conditions and co-occurring conditions. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focused on possibility. Together, we’ll work toward strength, balance, and renewed confidence.
What to Expect
Your first session is a welcoming, judgment-free space to share your story and define your goals. Whether you’re processing trauma, adjusting to a disability, or managing depression and chronic stress, we’ll create a plan that fits you. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs empowering you to reconnect with your strengths, You’ll leave with practical strategies and a clearer sense of direction.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma and PTSD, and co-occurring conditions such as addiction, depression, anxiety, or chronic pain. Many of my clients have survived major medical events, surgeries, or physical loss, including limb loss and are now seeking transformation, purpose, and emotional freedom. If you’ve already made it through the hardest parts and are ready to build what comes next, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
